Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. was founded in February
of 1943 at Lewis Business College in Detroit, Michigan by the late Mrs. Elizabeth Garner and Mrs. Violet T. Lewis.
Membership
includes women in all professional, business related positions and vocationally trained occupations; in addition, it extends
membership to young women who are still pursuing their educational goals as undergraduates at two year or four year institutions.
